Some people celebrate Australia Day by having a barbecue, getting drunk, spending the day at the beach or wearing as much horrible looking Australian flag themed clothing as they can find. Personally I like nothing better than to sit back and watch a few of the great films that this fine country has produced. For today's viewing I have lined up one of my favorite Aussie movies of all time; ROMPER STOMPER.
Not only is it a great Australian film but it is still to this day one of the most brutal, powerful and jarring movies I've had the pleasure of seeing and it features a brilliant performance from Russell Crowe as Hando, the leader of the skinheads. Enjoy.
